Halcyon Elysium

The title.. What is the essence?

Just stop and listen..

Nature is beautiful. So are you; we are a part of nature and yet we are not limited to it. Now let's go together, and become one with our Source, which is above the Universe and that which defines it.

The Source of all things should be above all things. We can not find life from the inanimate and we can not find light where darkness reigns. The Source is not a phenomenon and it can not be subjugated. Try as we may, the Source can not be subjected to experiment or confinement. It is absolute foolishness to believe that the Source is us and we in turn can become it.

Dreams are shattered because we do not have the power to manifest that which shouldn’t exist. When we claim we have succeeded, we remove ourselves from the awesome gift of volition and the capacity to create. Yet we do not create anything which doesn’t already exist, even if we are able to combine attributes of different things to form something not already constructed by nature.

Does the scientists create their awesome experiments without using what nature has provided since before the dawn of humanity? Can a mother bare children without taking into her, that which is given by nature? When has anyone thought of a concept that no other person could equally devise?

I do not dream of an existence that is apart from what this Universe is capable of. However, I seem to confuse the abilities and attributes of other creatures and elements into my will as though I have the capacity to do create something from nothing.. Is anything possible? I think so, under a very specific pretense. However, it means nothing if Love doesn’t exist, anyways.

Where do we look to satisfy our desires? A deep craving of an infinite magnitude ensnares the individual as the mind grows and the imagination is enriched throughout our short life cycle. What is the depth of the human experience without memories of where we have come from so we understand where we have come to? How then, can we share the joy of our hearts if there is no boundary that explains why one heart becomes hardened to the pleasures of other hearts?

There is a fine line between the pursuit of happiness and experiencing happiness without pursuit. This is the essence of sacrifice and it is by far the greatest explanation to why Evil doesn’t have to exist to experience the deepest aspect of happiness: Joy. I do not mean a lack of capacity, I simply mean a lack of presence. Just like I haven’t always existed, despite the capacity as I obviously am living, there is no reason to conclude that the polarity of Good vs. Evil is a necessity—Our finite understanding of such things leads us into a realm where the truth exists in as many forms as a lie. In fact, we can go so far as to say that every bit of truth has a bit of lies and every lie has a bit of truth. This creates infinite regression, it is simply illogical and emotionally bankrupt.

We’re on a one-way track. Time doesn’t go backwards and maturity/growth/evolution/enlightenment behaves in the same manner. However, society will try to convince you that it’s all “Mind over Matter”. Yeah.. Well I mind, because it matters; that’s all I can say to such things.

Before we forget, we should give more credence to the nature of good and bad memories, holding onto everything that’s good and respecting the lesson taught by the bad. Only then does anyone have a chance of maintaining their reality-altering hope or even imparting it to loved ones.

Don't be Kissing a Fool, Don't be Fooled by a Kiss

I'm not sure where the fairy tale notion of a kiss being the most magical thing came into modern day truisms, but there's more awful ideas in this world than you can shake a stick at. Especially considering how many cultural lines the modern day layman has to cross to understand if something is fantasy fun or supposed to carry real-world meaning behind. Just like the idea that being a patriotic citizen is a proper way of life, instead of just an ideology that can be expressed in different ways in the same country.

It felt so good.. I never thought I'd know Heaven in this life!

Oh please.. I am a firm believer that the power of Love shows it's true form in the most unexpected places, during the most needed times. It has something to do with how someone offers you a helping hand when you think everyone kicked you to the ground. Or how you are forgiven for something you thought would end a relationship. Or someone gives you a compliment about your style when everyone else rolled their eyes.
I'm not saying that Love can't be experienced when negative emotions get the best of us, I am simply saying that it is unreasonable to think that anyone can be so sure about the depth of the expression of affection only during moments of positivity. However, far be it from my intentions to ever suggest it can't be an indicator.

But they are the one! I can feel it..

Obviously. Whenever someone tells me something like that, I get excited for them unless the two people just met or there is no expression of disagreement on anything. In fact, I think the worse examples are people who believe such things based solely on some shared interest. Granted, sharing interests and Love and first sight are not whimsical examples that are guaranteed to lead to breakups.. However, it would seem to make the most sense to give it some time to test the waters with just the toes instead of diving in head first and getting acquainted with whatever predator is under the surface. In fact, it seems unreasonable to not question why there is such a strong emotional knot in the stomach while logic is tossed out the window.

You don't understand how they make me feel, it's magical.

I don't believe in magic, especially in a young girl's heart. That's why young girls grow up and find out that Prince Charming wanted to find his Queen, not a princess that can't handle the toils of life. This is why I believe in things like Pain, Suffering, and Sacrifice. It isn't a macabre outlook on romance, it's accepting the realities of life in a very realistic way. Realism never kept a relationship from reaching it's full potential, it keeps individuals from being immature and repeating mistakes as much as helping people to realize what their lover may go through to make them feel the reality of their affection.
Funny how all that works, isn't it?
Pain isn't the thing that defines Love. Suffering isn't the thing that defines Love.
Patience, Kindness, Enduring, Hopefulness.. These are points that define Love.
It seems really hard to find these things in a short-term relationship realistically, I think.

It was meant to be, nothing can stop us!

Times change.. Sometimes for the better, but not usually. That's why the majority of people who have lived, like the superstition of good luck. I guess if you flirt with Lady Luck enough, she'll give you something that redefines life. Then again, someone might get jealous and steal everything you have, including your life. Which is one reason why I feel it is more important to tell anyone and everyone to be thankful for every good thing that happens, not because it may be their last, but because things weren't always good.
Take a look at the Rich vs Poor. How about the Ugly vs Beautiful. Is there a need for more starkly contrasting examples to make a well observed fact known? We should all know how quickly the roles can be reversed realistically let alone by perception.

I can handle this, the good and the bad!

I wont say no, even when it does seem like everything is failing. Especially sanity. After all, what may seem like is the end of the world one moment, turns out to be just a phase in life the next moment. Some people just have a tendency to wear their emotions on their sleeve, so it seems they may get too caught up in any sense of the idea. So that also means some people may have their heads in the clouds, but their feet are firmly planted on the ground.
In the end, the importance of advice is to be understanding of who you are giving it to.
I may refuse to admire the fairy tale ending, but I don't think it's impossible. Conversely, I do believe that good things can come from a horrible situation. It may take time, but there's no sense in scaring people away from a very natural thing such as Love. Just remember kids, there is a difference between true love and Infatuation.

The God of Me

I find myself caught in a hard place when dealing with social issues. It isn't hard because I don't know what to think and it isn't hard because I don't know what to say. What's hard is breaking out the truth to people without becoming the same thing I'm admonishing someone for. It is beyond being a hypocrite, the problem becomes akin to intellectual dysfunction.

One of the quickest ways that this frustrating issues happens is when talking to Americans about America, such as what should be done politically. Everyone, who is smart enough to see through to this, knows that politics is nothing but opinions. The problem isn't that most people want their opinion to be realized as etiquette or policy, it is that so many people lose themselves in the fray of entitlement. Most common is how people make themselves out to be the center of the universe.
My personal experience is the racial issue in America. I suppose it is my fate because I am of mixed ethnicity; I am mulatto. For those who don't like that term, I say get over it. There's not much weight to the indignation behind it, especially since it is not recognized by any expert to be derogatory historically. However, that isn't my point.

I find it very ironic that most of the time that people talk about what they deserve or what they want in life, it comes down to a selfish approach. How it is that people become the center of the universe I will never understand from personal experience. Maybe it is because I have always felt like I am on the edge of the universe just like I feel like I'm on the edge of sanity a majority of the time?
I feel that I should be careful to point out that I see nothing wrong with people feeling like they have importance because I think that each individual is born with unalienable rights regardless of what kind of tyrant they become or what kind of atrocities they commit against others. That doesn't mean I throw justice out the window, it only means that I believe in the power of change; for better or for worse.

Let's be practical here..
We Humans are literally stuck in a tiny area of the Universe and despite the enormity of this ball we live on it is only our perception that gives rise to the enormity of Earth itself. In all respect of everything else surrounding Earth, we're nothing more than a tiny fragment in the cold silence of existence. If anything, we should be grateful to be stuck here together with something to do, let alone the ability to experience any kind of happiness in our meek existence. What that means to each individual is a matter of perception, not a universal truth. The most important thing to the human experience is not being alone, even if it is as simple as having something beneath our feet.
How does an individual justify their existence in light of the terrible truth that their existence is meaningless without someone to witness, benefit, or even suffer from their actions? How do you reconcile the truth that the human experience is polarized and sometimes completely slanted towards one side of the spectrum of positive or negative experiences? I don't try to justify or reconcile these things in my head anymore, I've gone beyond explaining it because I've stepped into the realm of creating an atmosphere around myself with the purpose of subjecting others to what I want for myself. I don't determine this atmosphere around me based on what I experience from others, I determine it based on what I have learned from my experiences.

I laugh at the notion that we can create whatever reality we wish. This laughter comes because I know that there are certain things you can not do, no matter how many people you unify under the same cause. Regardless of certain constants, like the cosmological constants of physics, I do believe that the power of the human mind includes not being subjected to every truth of reality. The truths could be what others have determined or it could be things created by non-human creatures or inanimate objects. I see it every day, people acting like they know things that have been proven to be untrue or people refusing to get away from superstition. Conversely there are people who only stick to empirical evidence and toss out any notion that hasn't been fully explained or theorized regardless of how many times something happens that can't be explained (like human consciousness or unexplained natural phenomenon).
The bias of most people is not as astounding as the result of the bias. It is the disagreement among people that baffles me, as that's when the self-perceived position in the universe becomes obvious. Which reminds me of why so many people think it is as important to be open minded as much as honest about what is factual. There seems to be a contradiction between the two since most people disregard truth to be open minded or there is a total disregard for possibilities because of known truths; as if all the variances in between didn't make all matters of life utterly difficult already.

At the end of the day the conclusion is always the same for me.
What have we humans become that we have forgotten our most powerful attribute that separates us from all the other creatures on this planet?
I don't know why I have to say it at all, but there are so many sheep treading the Earth that are only about the primal urges. Yet there is one ability that lends a hand to higher thinking even though it doesn't require intellectual processing or biological superiority to practice. To some degree I don't feel like pointing it out, because it is something that matters before any individual is conceived and matters beyond biological death.
Since I'm being highly intuitive, I am going to refrain from pointing it out because I'm not piecing together a puzzle. However, I think it is important to recognize the ultimate polarization of the universe.
The equation of the self or the equation of unity.

If science can show that the Universe, in every way imaginable, has a harmonized operation to give rise to something as "grand" as life then only a fool intellectualizes that they are the center of the universe.
There is no such thing.
